Nigerian Luxury Leather Bag Designer Morin. O. Launches At Now Showroom L.A

On January 28th, Now Showroom LA, held a “launch” party dedicated to their brands in the city of Los Angeles. Now Showroom LA, is a full service multi-line fashion showroom located at the GERRY Building in the fashion district of Los Angeles.

One of the top brands that launched at the showroom amongst other international brands is;Morin. O, one of Nigeria’s best in the leather goods industry, they are manufacturers of luxury leather bags and accessories. At the launch there was a showcase of some pieces from their collection featured by models.

The event which held at the rooftop of the GERRY building was well attended by the fashion industry crowd, celebrities, top editorial stylists, buyers, fashion bloggers, photographers, models and Hollywood personalities.

The Morin. O initiative to launch at major international shows, like Now Showroom LA, is part of the brand’s strategy to compete in the international fashion scene. According to Sakina Iskender, fashion director at one of Washington D.C’s top boutiques, Take 5 Boutique, she states that; “the Morin. O collection is a stunning addition to their new women’s line of products.”

In an article in the Huffingtonpost.com, the brand has been compared to the likes of international designer Philip Lim, and has been categorized as a promising brand set to place Nigeria on the global fashion map, for luxury leather goods. The brand is being supported by the Nigerian Export Promotion Council. It is good to see made in Nigerian products put on the global map.

The Morin. O brand is certainly making their mark in the global scene and is set to launch at major international shows in 2016.
